Etten-Leur, The Netherlands – We are pleased to inform you that effective today Synbra Holding has sold its UK downstream business Jablite and Styropack.
Over the last 5 years, we have succeeded in transforming the previously called Cluster West into a performing operation with a strong market position. Given the limited strategic synergies with the other entities belonging to Synbra Holding, we have now decided to transfer the ownership of the company to the previous UK directors and to Mobeus Equity Partners.
The newly formed UK company will now function as an independent organization from Synbra. We are convinced that Cluster West has created a platform whereby it can further develop its business successfully and monitor its own destiny together with its trading partners.
On the other hand, Synbra Holding can now continue to pursue its own strategic objectives by focusing more on a number of core countries. We thank all our former UK employees and trading partners for their contribution over the past many years and wish them every success in the future.
